Kennel Technician
Kachina Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate and motivated Kennel Technician to provide top notch care and attention to our clients' dog, cats and exotic pets boarding with us at our animal hospital’s state of the art kennel! This position requires a person who LOVES animals and is a friendly team player with a positive attitude. You must be hard working and reliable, a problem solver, while being able to take both direction and initiative, in a very fast-paced work environment. You must be able to listen effectively and communicate clearly with staff and clients to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a great way to get into the Veterinary field. Many of our Kennel Technicians have moved into Technician and Reception roles at our hospital. Full or Part Time positions available. We offer competitive compensation & benefits including:

Duties include, but are not limited to, handling, bathing, light grooming, feeding, and exercise, medicating and monitoring health for cat, dog and exotic pet boarders at our animal hospital, assisting technicians/doctors when needed, assisting in radiology. You will also be required to perform general cleaning duties for both the hospital and kennels.
Kennel experience preferred with excellent customer service and computer skills. Must be available to work a flexible schedule and be available 6am - 7pm Sunday - Saturday. Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Work weeks are typically 3-5 days per week for full time employees. 4,6,8,12 hour work schedules available.
You must be able to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time, sit, bend down and lift up to 40 lbs.

Veterinary Technician
We are looking to add to our skilled & exceptional team! We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician. Our ideal team member is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, flexible and a team player. We are a 3 doctor, small animal practice located in Dewey, AZ near Prescott and Prescott Valley. We are open Monday - Saturday. Full or Part Time positions are available.
Qualifications: • Veterinary experience required • Familiarity with Cornerstone software a plus! • Friendly, outgoing, team-oriented personality • Attention to detail • Firm understanding of veterinary medicine and ability to educate clients as needed • Compassion for clients and patients
The duties of a Veterinary Technician include, but are not limited to: IV blood draws, IV catheters, filling medications, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, client service, patient care, etc.
